Elastic
Global search and data analytics solutions company Elastic has opened its new headquarters in the iconic Entegra building in the heart of Barcelona. This modern office complex, known for its innovative design and strategic location, is now home to one of the company’s most dynamic teams. Elastic’s move to its new location in Entegra, right in the city’s technology district, strengthens its presence in Europe and positions the company at the epicentre of one of the most dynamic and fastest growing areas in the technology sector.
The Entegra building symbolises Elastic’s commitment to innovation and employee wellbeing, offering a collaborative workspace that fosters creativity and productivity in a cutting-edge environment.
Areazero 2.0‘s role in this case was to carry out the executive project, propose materials and oversee the building work, following British studio Resilient Spaces’ design guidelines. We worked in close collaboration to create a pleasant, high-quality and Mediterranean corporate space.
The layout of the space is centred around a core of rooms arranged at a 45º angle, separating and defining the more individual and operational workspaces from the collaborative and social areas.
One of the highlights of the project is the versatility of the main room, which is directly connected to the kitchen. A movable glass panel transforms the classic distribution of the space into a small auditorium, ideal for meetings or presentations, opening up the space to the more informal parts of the office.
Acoustic panels were incorporated to provide greater comfort and warmth. These elements also contribute to transforming the aesthetics of the project, using colours and materials that conjure up the essence of the city of Barcelona. A palette of Terracotta, sky blue, aquamarine and various shades of blue was selected to reflect the rich diversity and visual nature of the Catalan capital.
