Almirall Offices – Barcelona Headquarters

We continue to develop and implement the “Flexible Workplace” concept at Almirall’s Head Office in Barcelona.

In this case, we refer to a long-term project that was started in 2019 in which three floors of the building have now been refurbished. And where we continue to work day by day to extend the refurbishment to the rest of the building.

FWP’s proposal is based not only on modernising the image of its offices, but also on a more flexible work arrangement that makes no distinction between ranks or job categories, in which the users have many different areas at their disposal in which to carry out tasks and meet, thus facilitating communication and cooperation between teams.

The corporate colours of the brand are introduced as brush strokes on the furniture and fixtures. On this occasion, a somewhat more sober image than the one formerly used in Sant Andreu de la Barca has been used, but without forgoing the project’s identity.

Both the project and the work are being executed meticulously, paying great attention to both the interior design and to more technical details. Among them, the multiple acoustic solutions used to reduce sound transmission between enclosed and open spaces. A truly multidisciplinary challenge that is not visible in the final result, but led to a long process of development, testing and improvements in order to finally comply with the standards required by the client. This part also involves an important synchronisation between trades to meet the established deadlines and strict quality control in order to live up to the expectations.
